The Space

This 22,000 square foot gaming and entertainment space in Mumbai was all about creating an immersive play zone for adults. From a full-scale bowling alley with interactive projection lanes to game-inspired design features like a Tetris wall, Pac-Man entrance, and checked coffered ceilings, every detail was built around the idea of fun. Even functional elements like AC grills and wall finishes were turned into design features. The result is a space that feels dynamic, playful, and true to the spirit of gaming.

The Ask

The brief from the clients was to design a 22,000 sqft arcade & restaurant which reflects the brand's identity while integrating conceptual and quirky elements that define the character and experience of the space

The Result

The space is designed to fully open up the entire space, incorporating the brand's colors and a variety of materials. Strategic use of displays and enhanced lighting is employed to create a powerful, immersive impact. The ceiling installation above the seating creates an immersive atmosphere, enhanced by effective lighting and a striking display wall featuring a large screen visible from every angle. There is an integration of the social bays, which are inspired by D&B stores, designed to introduce the brand to new customers through distinctive signage and displays, incorporating additional elements to enhance brand recognition. Also, the Arcade space features a futuristic design, with a strong emphasis on lighting that highlights the gaming equipment. Guiding ceiling elements help direct attention and enhance the overall immersive experience.

Through the interiors, furniture, fixtures, and other adornments, we created a space that felt quietly opulent and lived-in, creating the perception of being an age-old establishment and not a shiny, new office. The decor was our top priority and we invested a lot of hours to get the detailing just right. We focused on culture; installing art and stunning artefacts throughout the office. These finer elements truly brought the space together, and the result was a stately office space and a very happy client.
