The Space
This duplex in Mumbai was designed to feel personal and connected in every space. The entertainment room brings in bold black walls with a striking blue rug, while the dining area pairs a marble table with soft sage chairs. The master suite is simple and elegant, and the grandmother’s room has rattan furniture and green tiles that add so much character. Thoughtful details like a floating mandir and personalized artwork make the home truly unique to the family.
The Ask
The concept for this project stemmed from our client’s desire for a home that radiates cheerfulness and modernity while maintaining a serene and refined atmosphere. We approached this by merging two 3 BHK flats into one expansive duplex, allowing us to create distinct spaces with unique identities yet maintaining a cohesive overall theme.
The Result
Through the interiors, furniture, fixtures, and other adornments, we created a space that felt quietly opulent and lived-in, creating the perception of being an age-old establishment and not a shiny, new office. The decor was our top priority and we invested a lot of hours to get the detailing just right. We focused on culture; installing art and stunning artefacts throughout the office. These finer elements truly brought the space together, and the result was a stately office space and a very happy client.
