The Space

This 4500 sq ft home in Mumbai was designed around a yin-yang concept, bringing balance into every space. The flooring set the tone with a bold wave pattern, leading into living areas with black, white, and pops of red and blue. The lounge has a striking bar unit and curved details, while the bedrooms mix monochrome walls with cozy textures. Even the bathrooms carry the theme with touches like ombré wallpaper that feel artistic yet functional.

The Ask

The concept for this project stemmed from our client’s desire for a home that radiates cheerfulness and modernity while maintaining a serene and refined atmosphere. We approached this by merging two 3 BHK flats into one expansive duplex, allowing us to create distinct spaces with unique identities yet maintaining a cohesive overall theme.

The result of this project is a thoughtfully crafted sea-facing duplex that balances yin and yang through contrasting moods—energetic yet serene, bold yet calm. Defined by creative flooring patterns, chic furniture, novel lighting, artistic details, and pops of color, it celebrates individuality while maintaining harmony. The integration of lush greenery, advanced home automation, and carefully chosen materials enhances both aesthetics and functionality. Each space transitions seamlessly, creating shifting moods that enrich daily living. The home ultimately transforms into a modern sanctuary—luxurious, artful, and deeply inviting, where design, comfort, and personal expression coexist beautifully.
