The Space
Mansi and Adarsh’s 2000 sq ft. space was their second home in the same apartment where they currently reside. This home was purely meant for them to entertain friends and family.
The Ask
The couple was flexible when it came to the design. Their only ask was to create a chill pad where they could host their loved ones, relax, and unwind.
The Result
Since the owners wanted to dedicate the entire space to entertaining, they were happy to grant us significant leeway with the design while not having any extensive demands of their own. All they wanted was a private space where they could call their friends, have fun and relax. Since we had a lot of freedom, and plenty of room to experiment, we decided to play with a bright and colourful palette.
One of the central elements of this style was a colourful rug. The furniture all faced the centre in order to create a certain flow. Our clients also had a massive book collection of more than 500 hundred books. So, we built them extensive bookshelves to accommodate their collection.
One of the most interesting things about the space was the convertible living room we designed for them. Since our client, Mansi Tulshan, is a therapist, the living room could double up as a therapy room for her practice.
This project was unlike most others and we had a lovely time putting together the perfect party space for our clients.
